Graveyard Keeper 2 hypno prayer: Effect and Limits
Graveyard Keeper 2 hypno prayer removes the Excessive zombies penalty while active. See its one-star parishioner requirement and when the debuff can return.
The Hypno Prayer grants God of delusions, which disables the Excessive zombies debuff for the blessing’s duration. Its one-star version requires 60 parishioners to start the sermon.
What does the Hypno Prayer do?
A successful Hypno Prayer sermon grants God of delusions. While the blessing is active, the Excessive zombies penalty does not apply. That penalty reduces rewards from affected sermons, so the prayer is relevant if you have more zombies than your current limit.
How many parishioners do you need?
The one-star Hypno Prayer needs 60 parishioners for the sermon to start. A sermon’s success chance depends on its parishioner count and the prayer’s difficulty; the blessing is granted only if the sermon succeeds.
Even if a sermon fails, it still pays its base faith and bronze per parishioner. The success bonus and blessing are the parts lost on a failed sermon.
When can the penalty return?
God of delusions clears Excessive zombies when the blessing is granted. The penalty can return if Excessive zombies ends and then starts again, even if God of delusions is still active.
The zombie-limit check happens at specific points, including when a PR Machine program starts or ends, when God of delusions ends, and at two steps of Congregation Trouble. At those checks, being over the limit applies the debuff; being at or below it ends the debuff.
